Snowmobile Trail Map--(click on link to download--it's a big file--so, be patient, it will take a minute or so)

Thank you for another great season!  This concludes another season of trail grooming in Fremont
County.  See you next winter!
Limited, managed, snowmobile and snowcoach travel on
Yellowstone Park's interior roads is also scheduled to end by Monday evening, March 15.

Trails most recently groomed:
Two Top Trail
Twin Creek Trail
Meadow Creek
Big Springs Area
Rea's Pass
Upper Fish Creek
Baker Draw
Island Park Village to Last Chance
Highway 47/Mesa Falls Scenic Byway

"Every effort is made to groom trails as scheduled.   However, last minute changes may be made to
accommodate weather and snow conditions.  It is recognized that there are inherent risks to the sport
of snowmobiling and the prudent snowmobiler should be aware of such risks and take necessary
precautions."  (Fremont Co. Parks and Rec.)

Avalanche hazard is MODERATE in steep, wind-loaded backcountry (off-trail) areas.  Remember that
many injuries and fatalities have occurred with a MODERATE to CONSIDERABLE hazard level, so--avoid
steep terrain.  Remember that "pockets" of unstable snow with a higher hazard level than the general
hazard forecast for the day still exist.  Be sure you have full avalanche rescue gear and proper training
if you travel in or near avalanche terrain.

registered.  Idaho residents, non-residents and the owners of commercial/rental machines are
required to purchase an annual Idaho Snowmobile Registration.   No EXCEPTIONS!  If you ride in Idaho
your machine must be registered in Idaho.
