Island Park / West Yellowstone--Snow and Avalanche Information
The series of 3 photos below shows a relatively small slab
avalanche in MT, that was triggered by a snowmachine
user, who luckily survived.  The bottom photo shows the
buried machine being cut out with the help of a
hand saw--
